Can`t believe how quiet it was - parked easy as anything, no queues!! The shops seem to have loads of stock and are marking prices down by the looks of things so perhaps some last minute bargain hunting tomorrow

You were lucky, I hit Milton keynes and it was heaving!!!! Thinking maybe late night is better than mid day!

I have spent the last two days in the centre...Have managed to buy about five presents...I hate xmas shopping i really do....

We went in to Newcastle city centre on Sunday, expecting it to be horrendous, but it was great! Got parked no probs, did a lot more than we'd planned because of the conditions, got out again with no big jams - result!

Having said that, did most of our actual Christmas shopping on-line. The only difficult bit was persuading family and friends that what they REALLY wanted for Christmas was a CD/DVD/book, so we could put one big order in to Amazon

Apparently Internet shopping has gone exponential this year?
