OK, so who has one of these or hope to get one from Santa. Are they cool or not? I have asked Santa for one but with the shortage of them in the chops, I may be dissapointed.

Everyone and their dog are selling them in the States. Maybe have a rummage around US web sites (Amazon?) and have one overnighted to yourself.

Personally, if I was in the market for a rob-toy, I'd rather get Sony's current version of Aibo...

This piece of tat makes an appearance on my 7-year-olds Christmas list also, but it has been vetoed in favour of £80 worth of LEGO.

Robosapien? Robocrappien IMHO!

It also makes an appearance on my 7-year-olds list and it will make an appearance in her stocking. It looks like fun in a childish way!!

I had a go in one in the Gadget Shop for about 30 secs. I think the novelty value had worn off by about the 20th second.

£80 seems an awful lot to spend out on something that will be unlikely to be played with past the end of Christmas Day.

Can someone explain the point? You can programme it to perform 80 different moves. Then what? Back of cupboard with last year's shite?
