So Married PH'ers. What music did you have at your Wedding? Not just the entry music, but during the service.
A friend on myn's Bride walked down the aisle to a Full choir singing Zadok the Priest.. it was Epic. So Epic in fact that its happening at myn... One day!

You wouldn't believe the arguments this is causing chez Dibble for the upcoming nuptials next year.

I am mostly not enjoying trying to find (non religious) music for the whole thing.

Mate, best bet where weddings are concerned is to ensure that the bar's adequate and everything else is left up to t'other half. Saves no end of hassle...

I'm in the same boat. I'd like a sing-along to AC/DC's "You shook me all night long", but somehow I feel that my aunts may not get into the spirit of it...

My sister had the choir version of 'swing low sweet Chariot' whilst leaving the church - result - shame we had just lost to Australia the week before.

We got married in a hotel and had a pianist playing "background music" before and after the ceremony.

Mrs Space-to-be walked down the aisle to him playing That's Amore by Dean Martin. Mr & Mrs Space then walked back down the aisle to him playing When I'm 64 by The Beatles.

Rather good choices we thought, albeit were biased.

We had Bread of Heaven, the scouse version!

Went down a storm with the Liverpool supporters in the church!
My Gran and elderly aunt used the traditional words!.
They could not understand why all the younger people were killing themselves laughing.

We had O Mio Babbino Caro (from Gianni Scicchi by Puccini) from the 'A Room With A View' soundtrack album, and then the rest of the album as background music, which meant the exit music was whatever it had got to.

My favourites too - I'd probably add the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves as well for full 'hair on the back of the neck' experience. We had a recording of it at Dad's funeral at full volume and it was brilliant.

We wanted a very musical wedding - the choirs were brilliant - the soprano was my friends daughter who has a lovely voice. The choirs sang Jesu Joy - it was really beautiful. We went to friends wedding this Summer - they got married at the Cheltenham Pump Room and the bride came into 'Here Comes the Sun' it was lovely - I blubbed!

Oooof, call me an old romantic....well don't actually. I haven't got a bloody clue what music we had.

Ask my Wife, and she'd probably tell you the same.

I remember the cars, we used if that helps.
