I can't believe I am working this late so close to Christmas. Am I nutter? I suspect so.

Is anyone else working or am I alone

That makes two of us then - albeit no longer in the office for me at this hour, thank God!

My client (IBM) has it's Year End at the year end (ie. not the financial year end), so it's a hectic time with everyone trying to push new business through the books before the close... [sigh]

Last day tomorrow (Thursday's my thirtieth b'day so I have taken that as leave - Xmas eve as well to deal with the hangover).

I'm in until the death on 24th. Off 25th-28th, then back in for the REAL Year End pressures, working NY's Day is the norm. too [ho-hum]

I guess at least I am in the comforts of my own abode as well.

Happy birthday Thursday, Jinx. Go fly into the world of the 'aged'.

That's some holiday! I would hate to have that much time off at this time of the year - unless I was spending it week about between Dubai's Jumeirah Beach and snowboarding in Switzerland that is...

Bit of R&R I think. Even Fairy Godmothers have to put their feet up, you know!

Taken on a couple of "extra-curricular contracts" over tha last couple of months to pay for some new toys. As always, the client's changed spec a couple of days before delivery. Bl**dy fixed price contracts... Would be alright if I could do the work 9-5. But I'm stuck doing it 8pm-4am.

Just... one... more... day...

Actually, the FG is only temporarily unavailable. She forgot to hang all the washing out.
