Database cant do labels?

Surely you just lift the lot into Excel then do a mail merge from that in Word?

writing Christmas cards to customers and I'm fed up with it.

it's not doing them that I mind, it's that they only arrived on Monday and our database can't do labels, so i have to write every single envelope and card by hand, for dozens of cards!

Still another hour to go.

Or straight into Word from Access? Tip: if your database isn't Access, create a blank Access db and attach the table(s) that you need via an ODBC data source. Job done.

You need the Patent Donald Rumsfeld Autopen System. It will sign them all for you, and you don't have to be involved at all.

And you don't need to worry about the boss either, since he can't read!

Unfortunately, the database/quotation/invoice system I am inflicted with is not compatible with Word/XL etc.

I think I'll be creating one that is over the next year, though
