Is O2 texting up the creek?

I have two phones, seperate bills, bill payers, sims etc. and neither can text at the mo. Both can place calls. I'm in Peterborough and it looks to me like O2 data is stuffed. Anyone else having problems?

i just sent a text to myself (02 payg) and it works fine. maybe just your area?

Could be the result of the fire at Morbourne the other month. The ET had a piece in it saying that the services were being updated as and when they could get the work done. The big mast at Gunthorpe that is owned by NTL is being uesd at present and was due to have "preventative" maintenance carried out on it this week. With you being in Werrington I would that would be the carrier mast you used
