Don't you hate it when you get a song stuck in your head...

Trouble is, I was in Birmingham today, cruising through selfriges and their DJ was playing a fantastic tune, and bits of it are stuck in my head, but not enough to sing at Shazam (and not enough credit to phone it at the time!).. and not enough to describe it to someone so I can work out what it is..

Bugger, just have to keep on listening out and hope I hear it!

Do you recall ANY of the words?

If so type [ "XXX XX XXX XX XXXXX" lyrics ] into Google.
I find it works, certainly if you have 4 or 5 words in a row you can be sure of.

Sing it into Shazam or whatever it's called. I was in a pub one day and said to a friend - 'while you're at the bar, find out what that music is'. He came back with the text on his mobile - he just held it up the speaker... awesome

When you say "their DJ", was it a REAL DJ? Can you not go back and ask them what CD was on/if the staff know the song?

Really meant to at the time, but following Mrs S and family around the shops precluded that...

Ahh well, guess I'll have to wait till I hear it again and then use shazam!

If it's a CD that was on, I'd go back - likely it's still playing.

unfortunately, a feathered wing wearing DJ was behind the wheels of steel..

Can't be arsed to drive 80 miles to find out what a song was... just really annoying when it happens!
