As someone who has laid in bed with someone who is cheating, i'd say don't do it. Its not a good or nice thing to do, and it breaks hearts. No one has ever cheated on me, and I have never cheated on anyone, and I intend to keep it that way. Your girlfriend will find out, and it will hurt her, you have to ask yourself whether you could hurt her, i know i could'nt.

Seriously mate, just talk to her, be open. I've found that a problem gets sorted much quicker if people are open about things.
