Mentioned this at the A23 Blatttt, but bears repeating.
We`ve all had it, the irritating double glazing call just as you sit down to dinner. Here is how I deal with it.

CC...Hello, is that Mr xxxxxxxxx?
Me...No
CC...Can I speak to Mr xxxxxxxxx?
Me...No, he`s not here.
CC...OK, can I speak to Mrs xxxxxxx?
Me...No, she`s not here either
CC...Ok, may I ask who I am speaking to?
Mw...I`m a burglar, goodbye.

Followed by that equally irritating cold call from the bib and then a charge for wasting Police time.

I do that and often wonder how long they hold on for.
