On camera:

It was a good game, end to end stuff, both side held their own. To be fair, each team had goal scoring opportunities and either one could have walked off with the three points, but one apiece was a fair result.

The midfield dominated throughout - it was very competitive out there. The managers made crucial changes after the break, which changed the whole pattern of the game.

The ref was involved in a couple of crucial decisions and, for my money, the second incident should have been a penalty. To be fair though, from where the ref was standing he couldn’t really give it, because he didn’t have a great view. Although, the assistant referee certainly should have seen the foul, but that’s football.

All in all, it was a typical derby. Both teams battled for a result and striking opportunities were at a premium, with just eight attempts on goal, with three on target.

So, the final result was a hard earned draw and the points shared.
