Seeing as most of us get a bit slushy around this time of year, I wondered what everyone's top 3 best moments/memories ever were.

Mine are:

1) My 12th birthday - I won a piano competition that day, and subsequently got a new piano and it felt like the whole world loved me (which I guess is rare for an insecure 12-year-old).

2) Running back home through the pouring rain with my dad and laughing hysterically all the way.

3) A kiss I received from a very special person not so long ago.

I suppose it is the simple stuff really.

Please share yours.

Top 3?

1. A holiday I took in Tuscany in 2002. Absolutely everything about it was perfect.

2. The 2002 Oulton Park Gold Cup just before I went off to university for the first time. I was already kinda apprehensive and excited, but the sight of so much exotica, most of which I'd only seen in books before (250GTO, anyone?) sent chills up and down my spine. The sound of a thundering great big Chevrolet V8 in a '72 Camaro double-declutching through the Foulstones chicane brought tears to my eyes.

3. Ah, you're not hearing that one

That is really one of your top 3 all time best things to happen to you??????

No wonder your boyfriend left the first time, bet your idea of a romantic night in was Bloomberg on the telly and the Financial Times all over the floor!!!

Surely first time on a roller coaster, waltzers at the fair, first illicit drag on a ciggy/drink first kiss, must have been better than that!

First drive in a Griffith.

First view of the Grand Canyon. (as an aside to this, the canyon came into view just as the chorus from Fleetwood Mac, Seven Wonders came on the stereo. Timing or what?)

Riding through Brighton in 1984 at the Harley Super Rally, with over 1000 other Harleys, with Willie G Davidson on the bike next to mine.

1. Getting married at Silverstone circuit
2. Standing on the podium at Silverstone spraying champers everywhere with my new wife on the same day.
3. Doing spin-turns and power-slides in my TVR on part of the GP circuit on the same day (see my profile)

Best day of my life (so far) really.

Actually, the thing about the share options was a joke, hence the next to it. My third best moment was getting a 2:1 after being told I was too thick for higher education.
