Does this ever happen to you? You are working through something and so you post it on here..... and then somehow, the conversation in the real world goes something like

"Well I posted this on Pistonheads and they reckon....."

Or is it just me?

My wife already accepts that to me this is the font of (almost) all knowledge.

I still start conversations with "We were discussing X on PH the other day."

Try telling people you're going to meet other pistonheads, whom you've never met but who you speak with via an internet forum
The look on the womens face from the hockey club do, which was in the other function room at BTaP was priceless, she couldn't believe that we hadn't all met before.

Yeah that is the strange thing about PH

If you say to your real world mates, oh I'm just going to a car park to meet loads of people off the internet they look at you as if you've taken up dogging...

Mrs Y used to moan/piss-take everytime I mentioned anything discussed on PH. But nowadays I'm regularly updated on the state of the world from the perspective of k-9community.com (or "dogheads" as it's become known in our house)
