Makes better TV...

There isnt much entertainment value in people who've won the lottery, enjoyed themselves and lived better lives.

Which is, I guess, the reason why 99% of the subjects on Property Ladder are so clueless...

I liked the programme about that geezer who faked a jackpot win, he ended up with a 3 stretch...ouch.

The cons nicknamed him Bonusball

Almost as funny as the one where Stuart Hall of It's a Knockout fame got sent down, the cons asked him how long he was in for, he said something like 10 months, some guy said 'You should've played your joker mate, you'd have only got 5'

Dunno if that's true or not but it was pretty funny when I heard it.
