Need to do a couple of on spec purchases from Amazon to keep my toe in and to avoid becoming completely middle-aged. ATM I’m tapping my toe to There But For The Grace Of God – Fire Island (1994!!!). Last few purchases from Hed Kandi have been superb. I’m currently going through a lounge/funk/deep house sort of mood . St Germain Tourist would be a bit too downbeat. Hed Kandi – Deeper is more about the mark (Is anyone still with me?). So what should I be looking for that’s new?

I'm really moving off of that kind of house music and am really starting to look more towards deep house (not of the HK "Deeper" variety - I mean Deep Dish etc).

But in the mean time, the Hed Kandi "Nu Cool" CDs are well worth a listen (although they're not all that housey really)!

A CD worth a purchase is the Jazzy Jeff Soul Heaven CD. (Defected "In The House" series type thing, if you know what I mean).

Nu Cool and Jazzy Jeff are on more of a jazzy/funky vibe but they make for much more interesting listening than bloody Stonebridge etc!

What about the Deep Dish - Toronto mix CD? That's pretty good!
