Can anyone recommend any hotels in Japan.
Particulaly in Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe and Nagano.

I am struggling to find any for less than £100 per night. This means its costing me more in hotels than the flights to HK and Japan combined.

Cheers

If they have different prices for a "rest" and a "stay" you might want to cnsider elsewhere.

There are some capsule hotels (usually just for male businessmen) that do allow women too.

Capsule hotels are only about 4000 yen (£20 per night) and are designed for the single overnight stays normally businessmen types.

That was one of my plans. I have found 2 that allow women.

I am also staying in a ryokan and did want to say in a monestary but apparently its really cold over there at this time of year.

So for the rest of the trip I will be in normal hotels.
