Kyrenia, Cyprus, any good? anybody been?

The missus and I are going for a christmas break to Kyrenia in Cyprus. Have any other PHers ever been there? if they have what's it like? and any tips on good things to do?
We are staying at Club Oscar Hotel. Anybody been there christmas time? if so what was the temperature?
