I read an article the other day from the “nuttiest fruitcake in the larder”, a certain Mr David Icke. Apparently the world is run by giant lizards, who manipulate and control all of humanity - accordingly, everything that occurs in the world is a conspiracy of some sort. Oh yes, he’s also the Son of God (nearly forgot that). So here’s a chap that’s positively certifiable – it’s safe to assume that we all agree on that fact.

However, I was thinking. Imagine he was right! I don’t know what would be worse – being ill-treated by giant lizards or the smug “I told you so” look on his face. My biggest fear though, would be the giant lizards banning TVR’s.

Yes, some years ago I saw a documentary series about it.
It was called "V".

You have a problem with that statement? Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Oh yeah, interesting. Had a quick look at his latest book and it said:

"In early 2003, Icke had some amazing experiences in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil that revealed to him as never before that the world we think is "real" is only an illusion; a lucid and manipulated dream that he calls the "Matrix". In Tales from the Time Loop, he shares those experiences and details the scientific support for what he learned about the illusion we call daily life. Icke says that this section of the book is the most important work he has published. It is, he says, the knowledge that will set us free and take us home."

So now we're all in the Matrix apparently - it was revealed to him in Amazon Rain Forest. Now wasn't it 2003 that everyone was talking about the final film in the Matrix series? I'm not suggesting he's jumping on a popular band wagon to make money.

Oh, just one more thing: The book will cost you $30. Cheap, though, if it "takes you home".
