eee-by-gum, I member t'days when websites were websites, HTML thru and thru, none of this fancy flash malarky or scripting non-sense...

Aye, and don't you get me started on style sheets and w3c an dreamweaverers an front'dpagees. In my day it were notepad and DOS ftp - it wer all we ad.

Wernt it a bugger like when yer notepad files wernt compatible on yer linux servers? Linefeeds and carriage returns all over t'place - you ad to use binary transfers, aye, otherwise it just woodent work.

We were quite lucky tho, most lads round ere only had blackboard wit yellah chork. Them next door like, they only had coal dust fut ta reet with on their board, like, aye we was quite posh reerly, wot with our DX100 an 32MB RAM wit foorteen inch monitor like...

eeee - I remember they day we upgraded to a 14-4 moredem, seventy quid that cost us, but by eck it flew that did.

Them wer t'days went bits mattered - a 250K jeypeg was the stuff of a mad man's dreams.
