Where to find 'atheltic world record' stats?

i mean like a simple table listing of who achieved what an in which events, eg- mens 400m hurdles = e.smith in 45.77secs in 1986 etc

now i looked for this via google but all it returned was a 1973 listing in swedish - brilliant, ain't the the internet informative!

thanx, but the results are spread over ELEVEN pages!

i was hoping for a simple 1 page table.

but get this, that site tells of the record for 'Largest TV Audience In American Football' - BUT doesnt bother to say which teams were playing !!

duhh - how idiotic must they be!
