Bars and Clubs in Madrid?

Anyone have any suggestions?

The Terrace of The Hard Rock Cafe (on the right heading out of town towards the Bernabeau stadium) is great for lunch turning into an all afternoon drinking session....... so good that it happened two days in succession on a stag weekend last May. I'm afraid I can't remember where we went on the evenings, but it was bloody great.

Also Taxis were surprisingly cheap.
