By far the greatest martial artist of our time, but after watching the Bruce Lee night on Channel Five last week it got me thinking.

I was only very young when he died and was told that it was due to taking a Paracetamol for a headache...surely not! Anyone hear any different.

Also how many films did he do:

The Way of the Dragon
Enter the Dragon
The Big Boss
Fist of fury
Game of death

There are loads of theories on how he died, but the official verdict was something like an allergic reaction to some sort of pain killer. Of course when he died he had less than 1% body fat, and some people claim that this may have been a factor in how he died. Loads of conspiracy theorists have claimed he was murdered by Triad assassins, that an ancient curse killed him (see the highly innacurate film, Dragon: The Bruce Lee story for more on this one) or that he just went into hiding in the shaolin temple as the fame got too much for him. And yes, those are the only films he was in. Though, in Game of Death they used a double for certain parts as he was dead before it was finished.

A true martial arts legend.

No these are all films with people with similar names trying to fool people into seeing the film, bar of course his tv performances in the Green Hornet. The chinese connection is actually the american name for Fist of Fury.

He died in 1973, so he wasn't making any films after that! I always thought it was:

The Way of the Dragon
Enter the Dragon
The Big Boss
Fist of fury
Game of death

and his tv work. Though when he was younger he did star in some films, but he didn't start martial arts until he was 16, so these films aren't martial arts related.

Actually if you go and look at a copy of fist of fury in this country you get the film you have highlighted as chinese connection. The film you have labelled as fist of fury is in fact titled the big boss over here. It was for the american market that the names were changed.

There are films in that list above after 1973 because they contain footage of Bruce Lee.

All those films feature Bruce Lee, the proper one, in one way or another.

I saw Jet Li's 1994 film "Fist of Legend" which was a remake of Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury" and it was brilliant. Probably one of Jet Li's best films, in my opinion.

I bought Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury" as I hadn't seen it and was really disappointed. Maybe I got the wrong film, judging by posts that say the names were changed.
