We tried 'truffles' friday night, they arn't exactly shrooms as far as skoffing fungus goes, but we gobbled down about 50 and wow! 10 times better than regular mushies!! Anyone ever tried them?

By "truffles" you mean the fungoid growths that appear on the roots of oak (I think) trees and can be detected by pigs? Not some kind of indole-based confectionery product?

I think "The Psychedelic Truffles" would be a good name for a band.

Those are the ones. We tried a south american strain, a friend ordered them (legally) from amsterdam in a small grow-your-own kit. They are mega strong, and a much nicer trip than mushrooms, more sensible, greater clarity, fantastic stuff!

Have you ever tried them?

No - never had any inkling that they were hallucinogenic, though I was fond of mushrooms at one point (haven't had any for several years now though, I don't feel like such an intense experience these days). So all those French peasants have been getting off their faces all these years and I never knew Just goes to show what an educational experience Pistonheads is!

I still need to send you that email about salvia Bob. I will do but I forgot as my profile directs mail to my 'junk' address.

Come on alex, [Tony]They're Grrrrreat [/Tiger]

My gilfriend and I had a jolly good giggle which is what its all about Got a funny story to share too...

We watched shrek 2 and laughed till our sides ached After the movie I saw Julie Andrews' name in the credits. Bearing in mind we were both tripping, and Shrek 2 is about fairtale creatures...

...I was trying to explain to her that my great great grandmother (forget how many greats) was best friends with the Von Trapp family (The Sound of Music) and 'hung out' at their place, but she thought the Von Trapps were all modern day fairly tale characters

Convincing her whilst we were both tripping on truffles that the Von Trapps were were not fairy tale creatures, AND that they were actually our family friends was the hardest/funniest thing Ive had to do in years, we basically laughed till we cried

Thinking about it, but I do love the Chim450 and the full convertable....

But then the Tusc looks so dramatic...

Decisions, decisions....

Truffles will help expand your mind, making "had to be there" moments unnecessary, when it comes to appreciating other peoples experiences here on ph

So whats the real deal, are you getting a Tuscan sometime soon then or what? And is a cerbera on your list as a consideration?

I'm not sure about the Cerbera - I was thinking on this as I went to bed last night...lol

I like having an open-top car for weekends - and the Cerb, while an awesome machine, is a four seat coupe. (Although if kids come along next year I might view it very differently...)

The Tusc is just so cool looking. But I do worry about the engine's propensity for blowing up.

I can just about justify these purchases to the missus, who has less interest in cars than she does in particle physics, but a ten grand garage bill for a fun car might get her attention in a less than positive way.

The obvious answer is the Tamora, but it doesn't really grab me.

Still in three minds over this....

Providing you arn't going to fall out or go broke following your heart, I'd say go for whatever makes you grin the most. So what if the speed 6 engine blows chunks on you, get it rebuilt. Its a good engine, and buying another car "just incase" isn't necessarily the wisest move.

Hmm....good points. I'm having a think about it and may well go see some more cars over Xmas...

Now how about an F355? I really, really like those...lol. Trouble is I'd need to build more garage space...it's never ending this car enthusing..
