I have considered this carefully, and here is my highly researched, if slightly controversial, opinon:

Ook.

Could have Derestrictor as Death. Dibbler is a difficult one. Like the idea of Noners as Sam Vimes

As a rare poster I do not want to offend anyone I do not know. Street would be my nomination for the straight forward honesty of Cpl [before later promotions] Carrot. Any suggestions for CMOT, "Dibble" is close in Small Gods and others!

Surely Silverback Mike is the natural for the Librarian...

Angua should be WildCat... Igor possibly Love Machine...

Dibbler... Dontlift? He never misses an opportunity to mention the tools he has for sale

Interesting...I've been trying to get a bit of reading done recently but must confess not knowing much about Discworld.
I've just spent the last few hours ressearching stuff on it!

Twoflower doesn't seem like a bad sort of character, with a "naive trust in human goodness" (BTW what is an iconograph?)...

(An iconograph is a discworld photo that is painted by an imp in a box.IIRC)

Probably. But then it would start posting.

OK, my interest has been piqued, after a quick search I see Terry Pratchett is the author, but how many books are there in the series exactly?

Flippin' loads. Knocking on 30 I think.

FWD: I think "Hitch-hikers meets Lord of the Rings" is a closer match

Magrat is the downtrodden third witch, contantly browbeaten and humiliated by Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg. She is a great believer in the power of herbs, and Gothic jewellery.

Discworld companion said:
In a certain light, and from a carefully chosen angle, Magrat is not unattractive........She is short, thin, decently plain, well-scrubbed and has the watery-eyed expression of hopeless good-will wedged between a body like a maypole, and hair like a haystack after a gale. ..She plays a guitar badly and sings wobbly folk songs with her eyes shut in a way that suggest she really believes them...

If you wish to take this as a compliment that up to you! If any discworld character could be described as a lentillist, it would be Magrat!

Seriously though, she does prove that she has a core of steel, and is actually pretty cool.

Indeed she ends up as Queen of Lancre, which the other witches regard as having settled for second best.
