When I heard this story on radio 4 this morning, I felt pretty annoyed. Reading the above has made me feel annoyed again.

Horrific.....absolutely terrible. I step back from things like this and look at it and say "Can I imagine a circumstance where a boy could bring him self to do this?".....or....."Could you ever actually bring yoruself to do something as cruel and as thoughtless as this"

The answers are resounding no's. speechless

I guess there's no legal way this little sh*te can have his photo published for all to see and respond accordingly?

Ah I remember "appropriate school procedures".

These would be along the same lines as the guy who permanently scarred one of my mates by beating him with a bicycle chain was suspended for a couple of days and cautioned by the police (oh wow, I bet he was bricking it...)

While my friend was forced to attend "counselling" sessions at the school where a lentilist idiot tried to tell him it was his fault for not being more popular?

This is one of many, many reasons that should I ever have children they will NEVER be sent to a state school, no matter the cost.

Disgraceful. This boy is clearly a future chav and should be removed from the gene pool before he causes anyone else any harm.

I can't really descibe using the English language how angry this case makes me feel.

I really have no idea how I'd react having witnessed this attack for myself. My guess is I'd lose it big time and beat seven shades out of the little scrote.

However, what worries me most is that I know the school will let the attacker off with a suspension or something.

Sick fr. He should definitely be removed from the gene pool - immediately. These type of people should, at the very least, be sterilised so that they cannot reproduce. At 14, I'm sure he knew exactly what he was doing. If I was that girls mother, I don't think I could just let the school 'deal with it'.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone who could stoop that low is irredeemable and should be removed permanently from society. Retroactive abortion is the best way to deal with this utter waste of space.

That makes me sick. Whatever the punishment is I doubt it'll sway him from the direction his life will inevitably take.

I really can't express how upset this makes me. How can anybody have so little empathy for another human being?
I really can't imagine how angry I would be if I was her parent. I would probably end up doing something stupid and land myself in gaol. Little .

Someone once did this to me, although I didn't notice until I felt them frantically blowing on the back of my head. No harm done luckily. Why someone would do such a thing to anybody, let alone someone who had only just recovered from a serious condition is beyond me.

Quite frankly I am very worried about the general trend for people not taking responsibility for their actions these days. If people had a better sense of responsibility and consequence then we'd all be a lot better off I am sure.

If there is a God, can i ask ..."what are you doing"??

And if there isn't, only aliens looking down, they must think "hmm, still not ready, lets come back later, much later"

Kids are nasty. I remember kids doing rotten things to each other from grade school all the way to high school, and they don't really seem to have empathy or concern for others until they're adults. The only thing that prevents it is real fear of some harsh consequences. Otherwise, kids only think of themselves and their own immediate feelings and gratification. They know what the hell they're doing. There was a kid who "accidentally" murdered a cousin while wrestling her. Well, he was only a "child" of fourteen, and though he may have not meant to fatally injure her, he sure as hell knew what he was doing and meant to hurt her.

Jail for kids. I don't know if they still have juvenile detention, but that's where these punks need to be sent. Hard labor for a few years and a mark on their permanent record. Still, you can't teach people to develop decency.

I used to get smacked around by a guy in school, all the way from grade school to high school. I reported it, but the school officials behaved as though their hands were tied, "Well, we have to catch him doing it...We'll have a conference with his parents...". Made no difference. He was already far out of control. As an adult, I've heard, that he's still a complete, beligerent jackass in need of a nice long prison sentence. I swear if anything happens to that guy, the police can look at the entire female class of our highschool, and maybe narrow it down to about a thousand suspects.

These people grow up to be monsters.
