Did anyone watch this last night?

One of the weaker episodes, but am I the only one who thinks this is consistently one of the best things on the box at the moment?

certainly beats i'm a d-list celebrity anyway

Got it recorded to watch tonight

Its certainly one of the best things on TV at the moment (even better than 24 IMO) and one of the few things I watch.

I think the secret has to be that it is story and character-based rather than actor-focused as some are - there is a level of excitement knowing that Adam, Harry, Danny, Ruth etc. could be gone at any time - bet the actors don't like that though!

Usually its good but I thought the script/plot/acting last night was utter crap. Really dissapointing after such a good run of episodes. Felt like they had finally started running out of ideas. Hope this isnt the start of the slippery slope.

Last nights was definitely the worst one of the series so far but it was still pretty good, just a bit too far fetched. I think that the overall level is still extremely good and most episodes are very well thought out.

Sorry got to disagree - so much 'techno hype' and BS in there, all a bit too much like tabloid drama for my liking sorry...

Yup - I'm a fan too. Of the first two series, but I think this later one is lacking slightly.

The one a few weeks ago where Danny had to kill a guy in his sleep did grind on me somewhat - it was one of the poorer episodes.

I missed it last night unfortunately, but all in all it gets my vote.

Now TEACHERS......that's a FANTASTIC series!

Yes. Certainly the best thing on TV.

Except maybe the program about flying a Lancaster Bomber which, typically, is at the same time on Ch4.

So I recorded the bomber thing.

yep, teachers lost some appeal, as has Spooks now with characters not so good. Spooks, Teachers and have I got new for you the only programmes I bother making an effort to watch, aside from sport

I enjoyed the first series, but much preferred the american series from which "Spooks" took it's inspiration (Split Screens etc)

24

First series was superb.... they had the art of a cliffhanger down to a tee.

Second series was also great.

Third series however was weaker.

THe same applies to Spooks.

Simon left in the last series.

Kurt and Brian were killed in a car crash apparently...

it looked from next weeks preview like they might be back up to scratch, with adam torturing the ex military type.

can't beat a bit of torture on a monday night (although my wife may disagree somewhat)

Didn't realise that, I missed the last couple of the last series too

I agree that this third series isn't quite as strong as the other two. Still very enjoyable though

I heard that MI5 claimed it was total rubbish, portrayed their job as far too flashy and were really annoyed that loads of people were trying to join because of the mistaken belief that a job there was going to be just like Spooks!!

I always wonder about the techno stuff as some is obviously way beyond the possible as per James Bond and 24.

However in last weeks hacker episode they did get their key facts right, obviously with brand names and details (such as the encryption) changes, the only real fault was when they said all e-mail is encrypted the rest seemed to be artistic license.

The routers having default passwords and them being used as a backdoor by MI5 made me chuckle, I wonder how many sysadmins double-checked theirs the next day!
