"IT FITS,THE DAMN THING FITS!.....and i thought there were no more spaces.....am i an idiot or what?" - mahony, police acadamy.
"the path of the rightious man is beset on both sides by the selfish and the tyranny of evil men, blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shadows the meek through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brothers keeper and the finder of lost children...and i shall strike down upon thee with great vengance and furious anger on those that attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is the lord when i lay my vengance upon thee" - jules, pulp fiction.

Orson Welles (Harry Lime) in The Third man.....
"In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed – they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, five hundred years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
(The truth of Lime's statement is in some ways enhanced by the fact that the cuckoo clock is in fact a German invention, and the Swiss do not even have that to their credit.)

Harry Callahan is the coolest character ever. I love that whole scene, from the moment he puts down his sandwich to the point where he asks him, "Well, ask yourself: do ya feel lucky? Go ahead punk. Make my day." Priceless

EmmaP said:[pedantic sod mode]The one I was thinking of was from Sudden Impact where he's pointing the gun squarely at the robbers head, who in turn is pointing a gun at a hostage's head

But, just for you Emm, heres the original in all its glory:
"I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, did he fire six shots or only five? Well to tell you the truth, I've kind of lost track myself in all this excitement. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: do I feel lucky? Well do ya, punk?"
