100 year old car
Discussion
I saw an A7RN saloon this morning, I've fancied one for forty odd years but I've not scratched the itch, which is daft considering how cheap they are. I think it'll be too fragile? Although I've just read Coleman's Drive, so perhaps not!? I'm not much of a Ford fan, but the A does make sense. Some of the bigger Austin's appeal too, I'd like to keep it British.
Many thanks for the contributions. I'm just thinking out loud atm, but sometimes I get these ideas and then just crack on and do it.

I still fancy a 7, at the cheaper end of the market, but there seems to be plenty of decent enough ones around at 5,6,7k.
Montegos have got in the way, I could've bought two by now, but sellers aren't putting in enough effort, neither have come back to me with the promised info and photos. I was rather keen on the LHD 2.0GTi in Spain.
A '28 Chevrolet caught my eye, pretty cheap for a big old lump, RHD Argentina built for South Africa.
I'm in Japan this autumn for three months, I might look for a Datsun Austin 7.
I'm also looking at Kei cars/vans or possibly a later Century from the last year of V12 production.
