I have had some parts for my car powder coated over the years , mainly things like suspension (anti roll bars , coil springs), brake backing discs and a few engine brackets etc , it's great - lovely shiny and durable but..I have had problems with engine/dynamo pulleys , they look great , you fit them but they have gone all distorted and out of true. Is this because there is a heat process involved ? one side cools faster than the other ? All I have done is handed over the goods and they come back looking great , never asked any questions as to how the finish is achieved.

200 degrees then , no real use on parts that have to align properly , back to good old smooth hammerite for pulleys and other driveline parts in future.
