Correct font for 60's plates.

Having serious trouble sourcing the correct font (not the modern thinner style lettering) for a pair of reg plates for a client's car (they also need to be pressed ali silver on black)..............anyone had the same problem? If so....any reco's please?

Believe the font was called 'Grotesque' back in the day.
