funny that I was just reading about Southsea, and thinking should go. Look out for a white vitesse.

Yes , I've been thinking of where to go , done Brooklands a few times and it's not cheap , Southsea is an old haunt but I tend to stay away in high season - too many traffic jams , but not too bad early on , may be up for this.

50 odd miles out of Toronto, weather is supposed to be rainy, so we'll see, but if its dry when I start out, then we're going!

This year I'm off around South Cambridgeshire with the Cambridge and District Classic Car Club (it's on the FBHVC website).

Last year we drove across the Fens to Welney, it was a blast!

Priddy Green (New Inn Pub) near Cheddar Gorge for us if not raining - normally a good turn out.

Are non members welcome? I was looking for a suitable event, could bring Alvis or Gordon-Keeble.

A few of us will be spectating as the Cheshire Run (old lorry run) rumbles by on Sunday, starts (I think) at Poplar 2000 Services and wends its way through Cheshire to a half-way halt near Whitchurch, before heading back again.

I don't live that far away so a few of us will potter out in our respective jalopies and meet up at the old garage opposite the Raven pub (we know the owners), and walk over to the Midway truck stop for a mooch around, have a chinwag, and photo the lorries as they come and go. No set run there AFAIK.
