Classic supercar experiences
Discussion
Hello, I am not new here, but I lost my former log-in. I also keep seeing people and cars I know cropping up (I mean you Steve Hodder, and you Tony Brown just for a start), but now I am coming cap in hand.
For a (small piece) in Classic & Sports Car, I need a couple of real-world examples of classic supercar ownership (we are not talking Miuras here as much as Esprits, Meraks, 308s etc), one ownership experience that went like a dream and one that was a disaster just to present both sides of the coin. Cases where the money is/was very much an object and/or the car were a first classic are all the more welcome.
Deadline? I am a journalist, so it was last week sometime, but if you fit the bill and have a few minutes to relate your experiences, and have a nice photo of you with the car in question that you can supply, please do get in touch with a summary of your story and some contact details.
Thanks, and even though this appears to be my first post (it isn't), I hope it won't be my last and that I might contribute something to this splendid forum.

Have plenty, if your feeling lazy, you'll no doubt be able to dig up the negative rusty Ferrari 400i bit that I helped out with from the cheap Ferrari special approx two years ago
A couple of teasers from another unforseen rotten Ferrari restoration
The rear of the sill and part of the seatbelt fixing point...... all one big chunk of filler!
And the happy ever after shot
