I'm a regular trader every month at Newark showground, but does anybody know any regular ones a bit further south around the london/essex areas? all the regular autojumbles seem to be up north?

Most classic car shows have an autojumble area, although won't be as large as dedicated autojumble shows.
The Enfield Pageant used to be good, but is now like a boot sale and prices for a pitch are high. Theres a show at Battlesbridge on 8th May and lots more through the summer.

Thanks so far guys....Keep em coming. I usually have a double pitch at Newark and have multitudes of parts from the 50s to the 80s, so need good sized jumbles with ample stall space. Sometimes indoor ones only have small stall spaces.I would have travelled to Manchester this w/e but the stall spaces were too small to make it worth it.

Can't beat the September Beaulieu autojumble! I've been a regular there for many years. It's a great weekend of socialising, selling and general fun! The classic one in May is a bit smaller, but is for more modern cars (post war)so I believe.

I've given up on autojumbles as they're mostly full of traders. Why traipse around a damp field when you can just ring them up or look on ebay? The days of people clearing out their garages seems to be over unfortunately. If I need anything obscure it can usually be found through an owners club for a reasonable cost. Or maybe I'm just getting lazy.

Are you part of the organising team by any chance, as this could be of interest for both me and my wife. I have my large autojumble stall and my wife has a dog bevaviour business and exhib trade stand. We would make a realistic donation to the charity to attend, as we are based in Suffolk.

I agree entirely, seems to be 3 types at autojumbles these days, market traders selling either food at extortionate prices or plastic junk and very vaguely car related stuff like magic dusters. Traders selling new and used stuff usually for more than you can buy it for mail order or certainly off ebay and what can only be described as pikies with piles of absolute junk usually motorbike related that doesn't stand a hope in hell of ever working again.

Mixed in with the total dross is usually a couple of little stalls with some gems on them that you have to get to in the first 20 mins of the show or they are stripped bare.

I'll still be at Newark in a week or so, but it's rare I bother going these days, the York ones in particular are a total waste of time.

Ebay is far better, if not as much fun, but at least you don't have to pay silly money to get in!

I normally carry proper new old stock for many cars from the 50s to the late 80s.+ loads of used parts. I Normally get there on Sat afternoon to set up and quite a lot of horse trading is carried out before the public arrive. I don't sell the old tat you refer to.
The money you pay to get in can often be overtaken by Ebay postage costs.
