Frazer Nash - I want one...
Discussion
Having seen a Frazer Nash at some lardy dah wedding that Geri Halliwell was at, I fell in love...with the car and Geri (much better looking in person).
Anyway, I can't find one anywhere and I'd love to rent one for the day of my wedding. Any idea's where I might source one from?

It does depend on which type of Frazer Nash you would like! They are the most fabulous sporting machines and almost all of those that survive are regularly used in competitions, trials, hillclimbs.
Try contacting the Frazer Nash Car Club (http://www.frazernash.co.uk/index.asp) as well as Patrick Blakeney-Edwards at http://www.blakeneymotorsport.com/ and please bear in mind that Nashers require copious amounts of alcohol to function - and almost certainly one will attempt to run off with your bride!

fantastic cars. The only pre-war car which really interests me.
there is one somewhere near me- I've seen it a few times in good weather, but no idea where and the owner is always "pressing on" so I dont have a chance to stop and chat.
Agreed on the good luck part- try the VSCC also, as owners may be willing to help. There is also the very real possability that there isnt one close to you.
Also, and I really do mean this: pre-war sports cars do tend to smell a bit and leak a bit. Lovely and exciting, but your wife to be might not be too impressed if you are at the alter with a stain or two on the trousers and smelling of fuel, oil, grease etc etc!!

Well, I suppose it would be an improvement on the smell of the alcohol the Best Man will have poured down your throat the night before! She might be even less impressed if she has to ride in it in her bridal finery - or even her going-away outfit.there is one somewhere near me- I've seen it a few times in good weather, but no idea where and the owner is always "pressing on" so I dont have a chance to stop and chat.
