I'm about to start the restoration of a 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1750 GTV and need a pair of doors. If anyone has any or is doing a similar restoration please get in touch. Thanks

Something tels me Ian won't be able to help here... I'm putting 2 and 2 together and probably getting 5, but I know Ians just sold a door less 1750 resto project....

Bertone Doors seem to be getting thin on the ground these days, I've got 3 in my shed, but to be honest I'm keeping them as I never know when I'm likely to need one.

Your maths is better than some may think. I have indeed agreed to buy Ian Ellis's doorless car and hence need a pair of doors + a good condition Webasto sunroof if anyone has one for sale?

Wondered if that might be the case. On the Webasto, unless you really want to keep it I would be tempted to plate it in fill and paint it. From the thread over on the AROC site, this will be the Ochre car, matching the colour of the sun roof would be hard task.

Are you intending to repaint it Ochre?, it's a cracking colour as I'm sure RickAlfas will testify smile

A mate of mine has a delicious '67 Giulia which he is turning into an incredible sleeper, looks totally period in red with Campagnolo wheels and a cage, but with a 280bhp Nissan 200SX turbo engine and gearbox ( that Nissan engine is a long decendent of the original 60's Alfa lump, Datsun copied it, so much so that the engine mounts still all line up!!

So he has the superb rebuilt 2000cc Alfa twink with gearbox (130bhp) up for sale the car came with, PM me anyone who might be interested.
