Yep, or rather the company that they tendered it out to, and the guy who did the report was very thorough and helpful.

Its always best to get a marque specialist to do these sorts of inspection, that way you'll be guided as to the true impact of some defects . . . a simple example was a Ferrari 328 that was reported as having a cracked door mirror housing, the report didnt however mention that they are no longer available as it was written from a purely engineering perspective and didnt include any of the built up knowledge that a specialist has.

I agree entirely with the comment about making sure you get a marque specialist if possible. My understanding is that both of these options do attempt to do that (but it may be worth a quick chat on the phone to verify - I guess it also depends on how obscure your marque is, whether they will have a specialist within reach of the car...).
