Haha. Coming from an era where we used to get b&w pics for use in magazines as par for the course - the mags I used to work on only had at most one 12-page colour section - 4pp for the front and back - 4 for the middle and then another 4pp section about 1/4 of the way through, these look so familiar. Areas to be cropped and width (in inches) on the back - then all sent down to the press room/film-makers in a bag along with the layout.

So different now.

We had a freelance sub in once on Angling Times doing the Sunday night shift and he was late sending something down - having been told to leave a gap for some stop press results on the back page - so he just put something there saying Diabled results to come etc - when it got onto the press somehow (comp room fools) it had "Spasi's results spasi's results spasi's results" etc in this box.

The press was stopped. Heads rolled for sure!
