Does any one know or how can i find current owner of Jaguar XK150 3.4 DHC Chassis 827001,as you can see its number one i assume off the line the registration number is or was UXB113,i sold it to a Peter Wren and he sold it to Paradise Garage.
The reason i want to know is ive still got the original log book for it and would like to give it to present owner.
Also have original log book for Jaguar MK5 DJN777 is that still out there, any help would be great,i dont want to leave this mortal coil as my kids will scrap them im sure.
Cheers Brian Stewart.

Both car registrations are still current. You can check here:

You could try the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust

Sadly the XK150 is not listed on the xkdata website www.xkdata.com. That does not mean that it no longer exists, the site is by no means complete.

There are a couple of archivists I'd recommend you could contact, I'll email you there direct contact details. One, David Bentley, keeps the records for the XK Club www.xkclub.com and the other, John Elmgreen, down in Australia has also been tracing all the XKs he can for many years and is the joint author of "The Jaguar XK120 in the Southern Hemisphere" which attempts to track the history of every XK120 to have ventured south of the Equator (and others).

This leads me to the next port of call, John can easily be found via the XK forum on Jag-Lovers www.jag-lovers.org.

For the Mk5 you will find a sister site to xkdata http://www.saloondata.com[/url] and that Jag-lover....

I'm sure someone will know the car, MkVs are not to common these days. It's not my friends MkV, yours is green and he runs a wedding hire firm.

If you would like me to make enquiries on your behalf I can do so.

Thanks
Ken

Sorry, I should put my glasses on before reading the screen, 827001, is listed on XK Data, the details were provided to the site by the XK Club so it is probably a members car.

Could I suggest that you contact Nick Peace, the JDC XK register correspondent, who may be able to help you? His email address is:-

nick.xk@ukgateway.net

There is a wealth of knowledge in the club, and I hope you get a result.
