I'm sure Neville will appreciate it
I'm sure he'd have appreciated the buck behind the car. As far as I know only the front section of the buck survived undamaged. Abbey Panels "made up" the back of the car which may explain why the rebuilt car is slightly shorter than the 1966 original as well as having different "haunches". The main reason it survived is because it was kept outside a storage shed at Radfords and escaped their periodic clearouts/scrapping.
I do wonder about the fate of the discarded body/monocoque sections. No doubt they will turn up on an internet forum alongside one of the D-Types - perhaps authenticated by an "adrenalin-stained" driver's seat cover?
