Not North Western, but in the North East you've got Aston Workshop in Co. Durham.
I spoke to them a number of years back when I was Aston hunting. They've usually got an interesting stock. They've got a DBS Vantage at the moment and have recently sold DBS V8s.

£20 and a case of Stella smile

Nick at Grundy Mac, Martin at School Garage (Buxton) or simply enter it into H&H's next sale.

Obvious solution is to take a few pics and put it in the clasifieds on here, although you will then have to deal with the general public :shudder:

Zedast- surely you'd want to maximise the sale price for your car? By limiting yourself to specific dealers, in a specific area, you're hanging a banner out with a "need cash fast" sign? ( I don't mean to be disrespectful)

An Aston with excellent pedigree/province would attract a Global buyer if advertised and promoted correctly.

the ideal channels will take too long to acheive a result??

Contact Mark Mullen at Malton Specialist cars on 0844 7000 997, he's a friend and very straight. They are used to dealing with customers on the other side of the world so I'm sure you wouldn't present a difficulty and while they are mostly a Porsche dealer they do deal in other marques and if yours is as good as it sounds I suspect would be right up their street.

Tell him Olly sent you.

You could also try Dion at Elms Collection (.com). He does more Italian stuff typically I think, but is a good guy with lots of contacts.

The classic market's still a bit funny IMO, and "v.soon" in terms of needing to sell will typically mean take your pants down (or, as likely, no bids). Achieving a good price could take a while.

Why not buy yourself a 1k "modern". Plenty of kit around that would do the miles I reckon, and the cost of financing a grand would surely be more than made back by finding the *right* buyer rather than rushing...

Also, and I know I know nohing about you or your car, but be ultra realistic about its condition and what it might be worth. We pretty much all think our own example is top notch and should easily be worth the most we've seen others advertise at. Typically others will always see condition differently, and advertised prices are rarely achieved.

Good luck with the sale and the new job smile

Any chance of a photo of your car?
