Sad to hear the passing of George Hodge last week. Former Jaguar service engine builder,George built the works engines for Peter Linder, Peter Sutcliffe etc etc. He also built the works engine for Mike Hawthorn`s Mk1 saloon, prior to the 1958 touring car race at Silverstone.
