not this site, but my dad did it about 10 years ago. Had Westlife in his car for a rather cold October morning shooting one of their videos, and also some other famous female singer. he thinks it may have been madonna, but possibly a different one.
car wasn't even in that much of a pristine condition, just so happened that the trend at the time was for putting eastern european limousines in music videos. apparently westlife were 'very nice quiet yound lads'. One of the shots even has my dad driving it, with a daft hat on pretending to be one of them.

Colin Rose's old car, as used in the Human League video?of course, I will claim it was my car. he was just the chauffeur!
was it used in the Human League Video? I asked him about what it had been in the other day, but he does have a pretty poor memory!

I think so, although when most of your time is spent laying on the floor of the car shouting instructions to the lead singer, you might want to forget it ASAP....garethj said:

He's like that though, once managed to drive into silverstone on a racer's day with me as well when I was young. they must have thought we were someone, as we got a guided tour, shown around the pits, a go in some racing drivers mclaren with him, then a meal with some drivers in the restuarant/canteen area. I was too young to know who any of the drivers were, but apparently there were some famous ones there we were talking to.

I`m not sure if it was that firm?but I also have registered my classic online a few years ago, for films and TV etc.Sent pics and details and THE FEE! never heard a thing. So you wont see me driving through the village in Heartbeat.Anyone know of an agent that is legit?
My Hillman Imp has been used by Auntie Beeb twice (life on mars) and was in line to be used for another program, that never went into production.I have been advised to NEVER pay a fee as the agency recieves a commission from the film company and that any firm that does ask for one is usually a scam.
You're better off joining the owners club and putting the word about there that your car is available.Thats how i did it,and from what i have been told thats where most film and TV companies aquire suitable cars.
Andy
Several of my cars have been used by the Beeb and other filming companies, but always down to the club contacting me to see if they were available. I've never bothered to register with these kind of people since I've heard from friends that you don't usually get paid and do it for the pride and pleasure, while they charge the film company. It was that way with the Beeb for me too - arrived at 2pm, filming until - yawn - 5am then the trip home and on to work. They even asked me to change one wheel and clean it before filming! If you ever see "The car's the star" with an E-type in that's it. Never again!
