if you enjoy metal bashing skills, have a look at what is been achived here - its a bit of a creaky forum, but the panels produced with minimal tools (and a bit of child labour) is amazing

Wow,,, that really is amazing, i guess it shows what can be done, a new (pattern) rear valence is only £21.00 over here, i fitted one for a lad a couple of weeks ago, i wonder how long it took that guy to make it ?

As for the boot lid,,, bloody amazing skills, i love the paint removal method aswell, burn it off with a blow torch !!!

I look forward to the paint process, should be interesting, added to favourites, thanks for posting.

pat rear valances can be got for less than a tenner!

if you have a look in the project cars bit there is also a spitfire that the same beater did - thats further down the restoratin and the paint is pretty good
