Old Washer Bottle
Discussion
Hi all,
My Dad passed away in August and so we are having to clear his house.
He worked int the motor industry for the most part after WW2 at RR, Jag and many others and had a lot of old car 'stuff' that I dont know the origin of.
Does anyone recognise this washer bottle.
Its obviously old but I didnt think wipers were 'that' old let alone washer sytems but this looks ancient.
Thanks,
Tony.

The washer bottle appears to be a Trico vacuum operated device from the 1950s , fitted to Jaguar XKs . The screw lids often become quite corroded . They are being remanufactured however , see www.holden.co.uk , type Trico in to the search box . I have been trading in classic car spares for 15 years so if you need any help identifying anything else you might have give me a shout , or if you wish to sell the stuff on as a job lot I would be happy to help .

My Dad was a Design Engineer at RR, Jag and various others.
Thanks Lowdrag, again happy for your opinion on anythink that is uncovered.
How about Woodworker Magazines ?!?! Before WW2 he was a Joiner. He collected the Woodworker from 1952 to 1998.
Thanks,
Tony.
