I just found this quiz in Autocar 30 April 1983.

The winner won an Autocar sunstrip.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can anybody get the answer to this Make & Model of car & the Year it came to Britain?
The man whose first name and second initial formed the name of the car, and whose surname was also the make. Also had connections with hydro-electric and irrigation schemes and a very famous line in shipping.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What's your guess ?

Armstrong?, as in the guy who owned Cragside?, must be an old car though.

"year it came to Britain" would suggest an imported car

But then the shipping. Delorean? made in belfast, so the connection to the shipping??

Well done - Henry J. Kaiser seems to be the correct answer.

Now call Autocar to claim your sunstrip.......
