It might be a rotbox but it looks really original and everything seems to be there. Should make a great restoration project, good luck

Not sure on the restoration front, the entire chassis, sills and basically all of the bodywork is shot.
We have a couple of others that may well appreciate a V8 lump though...

There is probably a whole now bodyshell's worth of welding to do on there I guess. Two full sills plus door bottoms, new front wings, wheelarches, the trumpet on the inner wing, windscreen surround, and all those bits on the floor too.

I'd go for a new shell - if you keep it as an "original" V8 it'll be worth a lot more.

Reshelling is always an option as far as I'm concerned.
All boils down to money at the end of the day, But I'd love to do it

looks a long way gone, but its an original V8. Would be good to keep the car "alive" on the log book. Maybe a new heritage shell??

Bit of filler and some hammerite and it'll be as good as new!

Good luck with that though, nice to see someone not condemn these things to scrap.

He was going to send it off with the pikey scrap boys! Just offered us any parts we wanted before it went for scrap and the rest as they say is history.

Given that the outer panels are shot - perhaps a Sebring replica?

If it was just the body panels I would have had them done like a shot but as seen in some of the pictures literally everything has rotted away. Sills, Chassis rails etc

Anyone got any recommendations of people in Kent who could do the sills wings etc etc?

I'm considering having it all done, Even if it means I have to finish mine and sell it to keep this one (and then I probably won't be able to insure it anyway frown)

It might be more cost effective to get a new shell, when you consider the labour costs, parts and time it would take to repair the current one
