lucas l661 reversing lamp

After investigating why my reversing light on the Triumph Vitesse is not working. I discovered it was rust causing the problem. It has almost completly rusted away. I thought easy just buy another one, all lucas stuff is still made. Not quite so. The only ones I can find are a bit ropey on ebay. Anyone know where I might get one. It really needs to be an L661 as the hole for it is in the bootlid, Or a nice chrome reversing light that has the mounting on the back not above or under the lamp.

All I can suggest is to set up a search with email on ebay and be patientuntil a good one comes up.

Holden, Paul Beck and Rimmers would be my suggestion but none of them seem to list it.

Thanks, it looks like I need to go oldschool on this one and get to an autojumble. one day I will find one, if it wasn't for the ugly hole left I wouldn't bother.

After a bit of Googling, they do seem to sell dear at times - a pair new sold for £85 not long back.

thanks I have seen both of them, first one was rusty, the second one looks ok but the pic is not showing it very well.
