MK1 escort decal question - are these from Ford??
Discussion
Saw a white MK1 day with decals I have bever seen before and they looked great, different to the usual mex or rs2000 decals. Perhaps they were an option on the 1600gt or 1300gt?
About 2 inches from the bottom of the body was a black line about three inches thick, under the door I think it said FORD in a break in the line. The bonnet had the same off centre line, following onto the roof and boot.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Sounds like one of the repro decal makers has done a copy of the proposed 'rocker' stripes that Ford were going to fit to the Escort Twin Cam, as seen here on the prototype at Boreham, but, they decided against the idea.About 2 inches from the bottom of the body was a black line about three inches thick, under the door I think it said FORD in a break in the line.
