A few measurements and it seems to be a later 1500 Spitfire head, 1.38" ex. and 1.7" in.TKC 1155 is the identifying part number , stamped outside the rocker cover adjacent to number 3 cylinder.
I have given it the once over and it is in good condition, no appreciable wear in the valves or guides.
It turns out my son acquired the head to practice his valve lapping technique many moons ago, so the part is definitely not wanted any more.
