Wow! Loads of cars!

My list in order of purchase:

1. 1997 Caterham 7 1.6 K-Series Roadsport (115bhp), now a 1.8 VVC K-Series (160bhp), still owned 110,000 miles (80,000 mine).
2. 1991 Audi 80 Sport, winter barge, scrapped after 6 months.
3. 2002 Audi A3 1.9 TDi, part exchanged.
4. 1967 Mustang Coupe 5.0 engine 5spd manual, ran it for one year, then MOT issues on stuff that hadn't changed in my ownership (dodgy original MOT), now awaiting fixing.
5. 2009 Volvo C30 2.0d R-Design, part-exchanged.
6. 2010 Volvo V50 D4 R-Design, current family car (baby overdue!).

Mine so far:

1983 Jaguar XJ6 4.2, Cobalt blue. Utter shed. Scrapped
1983 Jagaur XJ6 3.4, White. As above.
1983 Jaguar XJ6 3.4, Cobalt blue. Used it to take apart a Fiesta on a busy roundabout. Scrapped.
1975 Rover P6 3500. White with green mould. Kept the engine.
1984 Jaguar XJS V12, gunmetal grey. Still got this.
1980 Mini Clubman HLE. Toffee Crisp Orange. Sold to gullible sibling.
1977 Jaguar XJ6, greensand. Parts car for the little brothers new toy.
1977 Jaguar XJ6C. Worth more dead than alive. Kept the engine.
1986 Jaguar XJS V12, Black. Stripped out and thrashed up the drag strip for RWYB fun.
unknown unfinished Caterham style kit car. Misplaced in a garage move.
1989 Jaguar XJS 3.6, Solent Blue. Sold, as the 3.6 is for pansies.
1991 Jaguar XJ40 3.6, Red. Family car for a while. Replaced.
1992 Jaguar XJ40 4.0 Sovereign, Blue. Replaced the above two. As I say, the 3.6 is for pansies.
1982 Rover SD1 2600S, Silver. Still got it somewhere...
1984 Jaguar XJ6 4.2, Damson Red. Bought from a welshman, who lied about its condition. Got home, with the back axle attached by just the propshaft and Mr Newtons theories about gravity.
1982 Mini 1000, red. Boring...
1980 Mini 1000, matt black. Stripped out, roll cage bucket seats, etc. Much more fun. Sold.
1991 Jaguar XJS V12, Solent Blue. STOLEN!
1996 Rover 214, green. Soul destroying... I cheered when the little brother wrote it off.
1991 Ford Granada 2.0. Hateful hateful thing. Battle to the death. I won. Watched it get crushed, just to be sure.
1959 Austin A35, tudor grey. Fitted with a hot engine and Midget disc brakes. Awesome toy, sold on.
1979 Jaguar XJ6 4.2, red. Earliest series 3 on the road. Sold to some guy in Shropshire who kept bugging me about it.
1984 Jaguar XJ6 4.2, sage green. Engine damage finished it off. Threw a rod through one side, piston out the other. Drove home on the five it had left. Scrapped it in a fit of temper, wished I hadn't about an hour later.
1979 Jaguar XJ12, white. Tried to bankrupt me at a constant 6mpg. Scrapped after the sunroof ripped out when I was going rather faster than I should have.
1982 Lancia Beta Coupe. Heroic welding failure. Scrapped.
1977 MG Midget 1500, white. Sold.
1973 Jaguar XJ6 2.8, white. In my defence, it's a manual rather than an auto and I have a 4.2 on triple SU's being built up. Currently in everyday use.

The Lancia Beta Coupe was a nice little thing, just very very rotten. It had a nice snarly engine note, and it was just weird enough to take my fancy. I gave up welding when after assuming it was stronger than it was, I chopped a small portion out and the bulkhead to front floor seam split.

The poor little car sagged in the middle.
