POR 15 and Seam Sealer
Discussion
Can you use these two products together?, I want to paint the underside of my Alfa with POR 15, but I would like to use brush on seam sealer over the seams and joints, where I've welded in new panels. Will they react badly together, which would go over which (or under if you see what I mean!).
I really can't see why they wouldn't be alright together, as long as you allowed the paint a good while to dry.
I do something similar myself when I get the welder out. repair and grind of welds. Then I normally use finigans No1 primere. Then a bit of colour top coat and then out with the sam sealer.
I normally go a bit mad with it then move it around with a paint brush dipped in standard thinners. Do my best to try and replicate the original textured finish and that's that.

Damn stuff won't come off my hands either, it's like painting with old engine oil isn't it!. Dries like Iron though, looks like it's going to do the job well anyway.
Hardest part was getting the lid off the tin though, I think they weld them on!. Of course I made the mistake of not putting the lid straight back on too, so I've practically destroyed the tin trying to replace the lid.
